Visual & Literary Arts Club | This club will be based on the annual community art challenge Inktober. Inktober is a community activity hosted in the digital & traditional art community where a one-word prompt such as "dream" or "ominous" is given every day in October. Artists then traditionally create an inked art piece of the prompt. However, the club will embrace a larger range of creative expression: digital/traditional art, calligraphy, and writing short poems or excerpts to represent the prompt, allowing all artists and even writers to participate. The event is designed to interest you in art, improve skills, showcase your talent, interact with the community, and of course, to have fun. You can visit its official site here: https://inktober.com/. We will meet weekly to share our creations and draw/write together. After October, we'll transition into Inktober 52, with a weekly prompt. Additionally, there will be Google slideshow presentations around tips for drawing, writing, and integrating into communities (specifically the digital art community).
